Internal Girth Weld Grinding - Robotic
WSC/TYHOO® - GWG Pipeline Internal Girth Weld Grinding Robot is a series of robots developed for the internal girth weld inspection and grinding of carbon steel, stainless steel and corrosion resistant alloy pipelines; it mainly serves in chemical, petroleum, natural gas, mining, nuclear power, aerospace, power and other industries. It is used for internal inspection and grinding operations of various types of pipelines, especially for pipelines with high internal girth weld profile requirements. The grinding robot will perform inspection and grinding operations for the internal root weld defects/anomalies (such as excessive weld penetration, spatter, sharp edges, flush, inaccurate butt joint, scale residue, crystallization, etc.) with pipe diameters range from DN200mm to DN700mm. (We accept customization for clients’ special requirements.)

WSC/TYHOO® - GWG robot is divided into two types: Wired Control Type and Wireless Remote Control Type, while:

WSC/TYHOO®-GWG (Wired Control Type) uses an external wire for power supply and operation control. It is suitable for factory fabrication and factory manufacturing. It is applicable for the inspection and grinding of girth welds of the pipeline with operating distance within 100 meters from the pipe end.

WSC/TYHOO®-GWG-WRC (Wireless Remote-Control Type) uses lithium battery as power supply, while the operation system uses wireless control. It is suitable for on-site construction for the inspection and grinding of internal girth welds of pipeline that the operating distance is longer than 100 meters and less than 2000 meters from the pipe end.
